I qualified at Guy’s hospital, London in 1992. I worked in the South East for nine years, before moving to Cheltenham in 2002. I was born and raised locally and attended school in Worcester.
I like to provide the highest quality dentistry to my patients. I love treating nervous patients and getting them to relax. I have a special interest in aesthetic dentistry to create wonderful smiles.
I’m married to Lorna and have two daughters, Evie and Gaby. We’re keen members of the National Trust, which also allows me to pursue my photography hobby. My photos have been used by the Cotswolds’ tourist board and Cheltenham Council.
In May 2024 my wife and I took over the ownership of OFDP and plan to continue the good work that Andy and Roy have been providing to the local population for 27 years.
I started working as a Dental Nurse at age of 18 in Somerset. I worked at the practice for 16 years.
I met Duncan and moved to Cheltenham in 2009 and worked part time in a private practice in Cirencester during which time we had our two daughters Evie and Gaby.
I gave up work after Gaby was born, and since the girls were settled at school, I have been working as an Events Coordinator at Cheltenham Ladies’ College.
In my spare time I am an avid reader, with a large collection of books!
I enjoying cooking, eating out, entertaining and going to the theatre.
I am now joining Duncan to help run the practice.

I qualified from Edinburgh University Dental School in 1982. I spent a year as the resident Senior House Officer in Oral Surgery at Worcester Royal Infirmary. Over the next 12 years I worked in dental practices at Catshill and Cadburys and also as a part time oral surgery clinical assistant at Worcester Royal Infirmary. In 1996 I set up Ombersley Family Dental Practice. I married Roy in 1986 and have a stepson, Stuart, a son, Marc and daughter, Sam. Outside work I play golf and enjoy swimming, gardening, walking and supporting Roy at historic car race meetings. We became grandparents for the first time in July 2019.
After 27 years of owning Ombersley Family Dental Practice, in May 2024, I sold the practice to Duncan and Lorna.
In 2018 I decided that I wanted a change of career and have been a dental nurse ever since: qualifying from Walsall College in 2019.
I was excited to be joining Andy at Ombersley, having heard so many good things about how the practice worked. I joined the team in 2023 and will begin studying for my qualification in Radiography in February 2024. After that I hope to take my Oral Health Educator qualification.
In my spare time I enjoy going on holiday and socialising with friends.
I recently bought my own home.
I have been a dental nurse since 1999. I joined Andy in 2004, gained my Registration in 2005 and my radiography qualification in July 2009. I left the practice to set up my own child-minding business, but ultimately found the administration side too stressful after just a year. When I heard that there was an opportunity of returning to work with Andy again – I just jumped at the chance.
I started Dental Nursing in 2016 and qualified in 2018. I worked as a Compliance Manager and Implant Co-ordinator before moving here in 2022. I gained my certificate in Dental Radiography in September 2023 and hope to study for my Oral Health Education qualification in the future.
I am local to the area and live with my husband Paul, our 4 cats and 2 dogs. In my spare time I enjoy country walks and drinking tea!
I have been a Dental Nurse since 1994. I sat the National exam at Birmingham Dental Hospital and qualified in 2007, I am also qualified in Dental radiography. I worked in orthodontics for 9 years before joining Andy.
In my spare time I enjoy being with my husband and two teenage boys and our crazy spaniel Otis. My hobbies include gardening and decoupage. I love to buy old pieces of furniture to paint and transform.
After serving the Royal Navy for 4 years as a dental nurse, I left to have my first son. Which led me to working for Andy where I gained my National Certificate in dental nursing in 2009, since then I also qualified as a dental radiographer in January 2012. After working for Andy for 10 years I got married and moved to Scotland in 2017 so my family could be together as my husband is based there in the Royal Navy. In 2018 we had our 2nd child, so we decided to move back to be closer to my family. Which is when I had the amazing opportunity to work for Andy again, I was so happy to come back as I missed working with Andy so much. Its a great team and I love the preventative ethos we follow.
I started dental nursing in 1998 working at Ombersley Family Dental Practice. I qualified as a dental nurse in 2000. Since then I have qualified in dental radiography and in 2010 gained my Oral Health Educators Qualification. I had a break from dental nursing in 2010 to have a baby so most of my spare time is spent looking after my daughter and my husband. I am still working at the practice but on a part-time basis.
I have been a dental nurse since I was 17 and qualified in May 2006 from the Charles Hastings Postgraduate Centre. I joined the team at Ombersley in July 2005 & gained my Dental Radiographer qualification in December 2008. I also hold my Oral Health Educators Qualification. In my spare time I enjoy socializing and watching sports. I am a keen horse rider having my own horses and compete regularly in most disciplines. In 2017 I achieved a dream come true competing at the Horse-of-the-Year show where I finished 6th in my class.
I worked for Andy between 2001 and 2007, but intended to emigrate to New Zealand, which sadly did not work out so I continued working at other local practices. When I heard that there was a vacancy with Andy I jumped at the chance to apply and was lucky enough to be taken on again. I gained my dental nurse radiography qualification in October 2019. Now that our children are grown up, my husband, Nic, and I can spend more time together. We enjoy holidays & walking the dog.
Sue and I worked together at the same practice and when I saw the change in her upon coming to work for Andy I was persuaded to apply for a job, although I had been considering giving up dental nursing altogether. It is such a different environment; we all get on as a team and the patients are so pleasant. I gained my radiography qualification in May 2018. In my spare time I enjoy holidays, working out at the gym and going to concerts together.
